I also had Jennifer as my stylist and I whole-heartedly agree with the last review. Jen cut and colored my hair. I explained what I needed and liked in my hair, and she cut it in a style that continues to look great months later. I explained that I didn't have much more than blow-drying my hair in the morning and she sculpted a hairstyle that looks fabulous fixed and has great shape and texture not fixed. She spent the time to get my hair absolutely perfect. I also had the comment that my hair was too fine for a razor--what a difference that makes! Jen meticulously shaped my hair with scissors. I am still positively amazed at the skill and patience she had doing it. I put myself wholly in her capable hands; the color she chose for my hair looks amazing even now that my hair is growing out my hair continues to look great. I fully intend to continue going to Jen for at the very least the rest of my school career. I think the person who gave the two star review got entirely too distracted by salon decorations. Personally, as someone who appreciates a harmonously-decorated establishment. I still think it is a better use of the salon's money to employ really great stylists instead of really great decorations for the salon.

I used to drive 15 minutes to Moore to get my hair cut by someone who cut a ton of my sorority sisters' hair. The place wasn't professional, but it was cheap and she always did a good cut with a razor- giving me a trendy look. I couldn't get a hold of her last time so I tried somewhere new, Glow, and am now happily driving 1 minute to get my hair cut. Jennifer was a highly knowledgeable BARBER and listened to everything I had to say and tried 100% to make sure I was satisfied with my cut and color. When I asked about a straight razor she said that my hair is so fine that it would be bad for my hair, I can't believe how long I had been doing that. She also explained that barbers go through many more hours of actual hair school than someone who just has been to cosmetology school and now cuts hair. She did an awesome job and it was very comfortable in there. As someone said before, it's not that busy in there, but are you going out to be seen while getting your hair done? I liked the calm atmosphere and to just 'hang out' and talk about gossip mags I was reading while getting my hair done. It also allowed her to spend as much time with me as needed, no rushing. I bought a bunch of products - they also have a brand you can't find easily called ENJOY- the shampoo I got smells fantastic (like cucumbers). When I called for an appointment I got one the next day, no waiting a week. Highly suggest!
Pros: Very knowledgeable barber
Cons: I can't think of any!

I had the best salon experience in a long time at this salon! The stylist was fresh out of beauty school but took her time and was careful and considerate with all my wants and needs. The cut turned out to be what I'd wanted for many months but was unable to get anywhere else, and the color is GORGEOUS! I especially loved the atmosphere there. It looked small from outside but the inside felt spacious and very comfortable. The atmosphere was welcoming, modern, and cozy. The women were very nice and there was nothing unprofessional about this salon. They offer many wonderful products and I would recommend this place over any of the other salons in which they carelessly chop hair off and toss on color as they see fit. This salon beats all others any day.
Pros: Stylists very knowledgeable and accomodating, atmosphere wonderful, great prices and services offered
Cons: n/a

I also read all of the reviews, and I am frankly puzzled by the last review. I found Glow to be a very friendly, relaxing and comfortable place. The staff are all professional and the variety of services offered is surprising considering the size of the building. It is small, but very "put together". They offer everything from cut/perm/color, to massage and face and body treatments. I have been very satisfied and I would recommend Glow to everyone from 8 to 80.

I read the reviews because I am new to town and this glow salon had a 5 star rating, liked the hip and trendy comments but very disappointed when I walked in. They were not busy, only 2 of the stylist were doing someones hair, maybe this is why they greeted everyone. One of the styllist was pregnant and complained constantly which is understandable but this is a place of business with customers. The salon is MODEST at best, the walls need a fresh coat of paint and it's just boring looking inside. The stylists area are very plain, this place could use a HUGE dose of decorating. My hair I did like but the atmosphere was very lame. Most likely the workers made the other comments and rated themself. the price for my haircut was reasonable but again, this salon is nothing to glow over for sure. I give it 2 stars for below average.
Pros: cost of haircut
Cons: not decorated, not very hip or trendy, complaining stylist

How rare is it to find a stylist that you totally mesh well with? Well, here it is ladies and gentlemen....the best salon I have ever been too. Glow Salon is very hip, trendy, and up to date with all their services. They are very close to OU and have very reasonable prices. When I walked in, I was greeted by everyone. They made me feel like I was their most important guest, even though it was my first visit. Jennifer Urgena is the wonderful stylist that has done my hair and will continue to be my stylist as long as possible. I have never seen an unhappy face leave this salon and all of the stylists are fun to be around. You get exactly what you want and how you want it. So go try it. I promise, you won't be disappointed. You don't have to have an appointment.
Pros: very clean, comfortable atmosphere, wonderful stylists and hair products
Cons: need bigger parking lot, need more advertisement

Jill Johnson is one of the rare stylists that you can sit down in her chair with ease. She always does a great job on your hair. You never have to worry about cut or color. Her salon is neat and clean. It is very hip just like her.

What a cool little salon! I love the atmosphere and the "glow people" make it fun and friendly. The VIP Body Treatments are the best, you can tell they know what their doing. Love it! The building may be old but who cares? The place is clean and full of custom furniture. The retro equiptment is cool, and the people that work there are the best I've been to in a long time! Keep on rockin' "Glow People"!

glow salon has a talented staff that goes through a 3 stage interview on all of their staff members. with an atmosphere that is clean, chic, trendy and relaxed, it is the perfect place for costumers intrested in chemical services of any kind, fun new cuts, a fabulous massage, perfect nails, hair extensions and face waxing...the prices are very resonable considering the knowledge and training behind these professionals. they could use a receptionist, but they are curtious and treat the clients with respect.
Pros: professional, friendly envirnment, great products
Cons: needs more services, needs web site, needs receptionist
