This is the first review I've written on anybody so please bare with me. I have purchased (1) scope, (1) handgun and in the process of purchasing a second handgun from Big Boys. At this point, I would and have recommended this store to other folks with the same interest. I read the other reviews on this store and felt compelled to "chime" in. Another customer writes that he was "ripped off" because Big Boys did not warrenty his purchase and he had to go to the manufacturer. My question to him would be, "What color is the sky in your world"? Between me and my son, we have purchased (11) hand guns in the last (3) years. Every "Gun Shop" we purchased from told us that we would need to go to the manufacturer if we had any concerns with the weapon. I did have to send (1) back to the manufacture for "adjustments" one time, no big deal. It was repaired and returned to me. If the manufacturer "can not" or "will not" repair your weapon, blame the manufacturer, not the gun shop you purchased it from. I will contine to do business with Big Boys Guns and Ammo. Keep up the good work...

Pros: Frendly, Knowledgeable Staff, Clean Store, Good Selection for Size of Store

Cons: Some what out of the way

Clean and nice shop. Big selection of new and used firearms. I was looking for a certain rifle and no other gun shop would help or even return my call. The guys at Big Boys went out of their way to help me find it. The prices are great and the staff really knows their stuff. You don't get much better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I bought an AK-47 underfolder at a OKC gunshow from these guys back in May of '07. Well.......had that puppy for several months before I decided to take it out for a try. Well, it turned out that you had to shoot one shell at a time and then un-jam it. This happened with different clips since I own several AK's. It happened with the original. Took it back and guess what????well....seems they don't stand behind their products. Had to send it back to Century International Arms and they didn't fix the S.O.B. either. The nice guys at Big boys told me, "This ain't Wal-Mart....you caint just come swap one out." I replied, "For $508 I would expect some reasonable satisfaction." To which the "big boy" replied that I must send it back to CIA for repair or replacement. Of course it came back 6 weeks later in the exact shape it was in when I bought it from these "big boys." I took it out and it was once again a single shot AK-underfolder. Yeah, way to go Big guys or what ever you are calling yourselves.....you give all the honest, reputable gun dealers a bad name. They strut around in the shop with their Glocks on their hips and try to act bad. It reminded me of a salvage yard I once went to in Mississippi. They never called me and asked if the problem was rectified or not. So if anyone wants to buy a cool looking single shot AK underfolder....you can contact me....but I won't rip you off....hell I'll ask you in and offer you a beer and cigar. And BTW, as a former college defensive tackle at 315lbs, I wasn't exactly intimidated by the "big boys" in the l'il shop of guns.

Pros: None

Cons: They don't stand behind their products....claiming, "This ain't Wal-Mart"

As a Deputy Sheriff I used to always look for good deals on firearms. I no longer have to search. Mike at Big Boys Guns & Ammo has the BEST deals on any firearm you need. If he doesn't have it in stock, he can get it for you. He's super friendly and very knowledgeable. I have bought most of my firearms from him and have referred numerous deputies to him. The store is clean and spacious. It's easy to find what you want. The selection is great and they even have hard to find ammunition. If you are ever on the south side of Oklahoma City around SW 74th and Council or even just want to get a great deal on a gun; stop in and say "Hi" to Mike.

I haven't visited the store personally but I have purchased from them through a friend. I ordered to customized 50 cal. rifles the turnaround time was quick and the price amazing. I am preparing to purchase my third rifle and can't wait to visit this establishment in person.

Pros: Quality, Pricing, Service

These guys and ladies were great. They took the time and helped me make an informed decision on this critical decision my first gun purchase. I had to drive oover 100 miles, but they made it well worth the distance an cost with their prices and customer service. A++

Pros: Great Prices and customer service

Cons: The drive and distance from the city but well worth it!

The owner is very savy about gun buyers and their needs. He makes good buys and passes the savings on to the customer. Also has a great selection of used guns and gun supplies. This is the only place to buy guns and gun supplies in Oklahoma City. The store is outside the city center, take I40 west to Council Rd turn south. A few miles later you will find Big Boys Guns and Ammo on the right. A few minutes extra travel but the trip is worth it.

Pros: Best gun deals in town, better than I can find on the internet.

Cons: Located a few miles outside the city, takes a few minutes of extra travel to get there.
