I was a birthmother and was assisted by Julie Demastus in finding the most wonderful parents to raise my child. It is always a difficult situation,but Julie made the experience wonderful! I am very grateful to the wonderful parents raising my child and providing a wonderful life I could not!

Bad Experience

We also had a VERY bad experience with Demastus. Out $10,000 after a failed adoption. We were told by Julie she would refund our money if it failed, which it did back in early April. Within a couple weeks, we were matched with another birthmom through a different agency and immediately informed Julie of the situation and requested our refund. It started with excuses about vacations, computers being down.... now almost 4 months later, we have received NOTHING from them and they will not answer our calls.

Great News - Meant to be Ours

When we went to Damastus, we had no idea what we were getting into. We were matched to a birthmother within 10 days, but she wasn't due for 5 months. We got to know the birthmom over the months and were invited to the hospital to assist in the birth. Demastus Law and the case workers/coordinators were great and returned calls within a reasonable time period. Unfortunately, the birthmom decided to parent the child 2 days after giving birth. It ripped our hearts out. The great news is that we were called exactly 7 days later with the birth of another child who needed a family. No reservations - we went right back. God works in mysterious ways - this child was meant to be ours and we are the proudest parents on earth! Thank you Demastus!
