really fun place

I have gone here since i was a little girl. I loved it then and still love it now. It is best to sit in the old part I am not a fan of the addition. Its a great place to go with friends and family.

Best fried chicken I EVER tasted!

The atmosphere is funky, it used to be mostly a biker bar, but the chicken is WONDERFUL!!! Be repaired for wait in the evening, especially Friday and Saturday. Even with the expansion into the former grocery store area, there is still not room for the crowd that visits. We take out of town guests here to enjoy the atmosphere and the food. This is a very casual place, there are no plates or silverware. At lunch this is a place where the workers from the surrounding area go to eat the chicken, fried okra, or nachos, and maybe have a beer. No hard liquor is sold. There are pinball type games and a pool table in addition to several TV's. The juke box plays all the time and has a good mix of classic country, rock and roll, and some newer country tunes. Seating is either at picnic tables, in large booths, or at the bar. This is a fun place to visit and as I said the chicken is out of this world good.

- Cons: Parking can be difficult to find on Friday and Saturday nights.
