Chinese Food went from Excellent to Poor..
Our visit on November 20, 2010 at 745pm was a very bad experience. We looked at the Buffet and it was 90% empty or had dried out food. So we ordered fresh cooked food which was a bad experience. The chicken was all fatty fried hard & crispy fat pieces, with very little chicken that could be digested. The raw brocolli and rice with the chicken could hardly be eaten as well. The spring rolls was the only thing that seemed to be freshly cooked.
ALOHA GARDEN was our favorite Chinese Restaurant, but not now.
Very Good Chinese Food.
Went in for lunch and was very pleased. Great variety of food, all fresh and full. Very good flavor, not the same old stuff at the normal places. They kept it all full and fresh the whole time.
Some of the best tasting food I've had for a long time.
Good Buffet If Busy - Ordering Off Menu Likely Better. What a shame that Chinese restaurants feel like they must offer buffets to attract customers. Most buffets, including the one here at Aloha Gardens, are only good if the restaurant is busy and the food is fresh. Before the buffet lines were added, Aloha Gardens offered some of the best, freshly made Chinese entrees in Oklahoma City. Well guess what - the same cook is still making these dishes fresh off the menu. Just skip the buffet - unless it's real busy and you're in a hurry. The following suggestions refer to ordering off the menu: Egg Foo Yung, Kung Pao Chicken, General's Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup, Chinese Vegetable Noodle Soup, Egg Rolls and many more are very good here.
