Great salon, friendly staff, awesome hair extensions and style. Nothing but excellent work by Debi and the staff at A New You Salon. I edited my review when I learned of the ladies who scammed the staff at the salon were slamming them with ridiculous reviews ( they are below). You can find the true story of what they did by going to A New You Salon's facebook page. You can also read the great reviews by their clients. Debi and Ashley are top stylists. Whitney is right behind them, learning from them and well on her way to being "excellent"
Debi and Ashley are wonderful! I have been a client of A New You Salon for years and years. Before my knee surgery, I had weekly appointments and have received regular permanents for too many years to count. I was first referred to Debi by a friend whose hair always looked so good. Once I started going to see Debi there was no turning back! Debi and her staff are always so friendly and have become almost like family. I have never had any problems with my perms and my daughters hair always looked so good after she got it highlighted. Debi always seemed to get the color just perfect. Thank you A New You!
I have been a client of Debi's for longer than I can remember. She is AMAZING!!!! She has done mine, my mom's, sister's, nieces, and now my daughters hair. She is truely the only one I would trust with my hair or my eyebrows as I have had very bad experiences if I have had to have someone else do it. She is also amazing at updos. I used to think my hair was too short to do an updo but she NEVER had any trouble doing it and it always looked fantastic! She is extremely knowledgable and I would trust her with anything. My own girls like to play Debi at home and get so excited when they get to go see her! I would recommend A New You to anyone any day. I have NEVER seen anyone walk out of there looking anything but fabulous! Thank you Debi!!!
I've been going to this salon and have been pampered and cared for by these girls, especially the owner, for many years. I've had the Keratin straightener, base color and highlights, manis and pedis - my hair is so healthy and many people can't tell my age because my hair looks so young and pretty. I can't say enough good things about them, love them so!
My first experience with Debi & A New
You Salon was in Oct. of 2008. I had really short damaged hair & wanted extensions. After my consultation with Debi I decided to go ahead and get extensions. My hair was beautiful! I loved it, and 4 years later I am still a very happy client. I drive about 150 miles round trip, once a month for hair care from Debi. The whole staff is very knowledgeable & professional as stylist. I highly recommend A New You Salon!

I am embarrassed at how distressed my hair looks because of the extensions a new you salon put in my hair and the severe bald spots I now have that may be permanent I am told. I wish I would have never gone into this salon because my friend had a great set of extensions put in at Scott Risk Hair Studios. My friend loves hers.
I was afraid to be the first to admit I have bald spots from a new you salon where the extensons pulled my hair our from the root and has never grown back. If you look close you will see that its very noticable and I'm very embarrassed because I have to always wear a hat.
BUYER BEWARE, this gave me permanent bald patches after my first and only extensons. I wont ever get anything done at her salon again. I am in my 20's and will forever be scarred because of a new you salon.
I too am a victim and this is what I learned after A New You scalped me. This week a hair loss expert at the London Centre of Trichology came out and said that in the last two years, he's seen a 15 percent increase in women seeking treatment after damaging their hair with glue extensions—which he now believes should be straight-up banned before they scalp more women. The trichologist told the BBC that the extension-related hair loss is traction alopecia, which is a condition caused when too much tension is regularly placed on the hair roots, pulling out the hairs, and damaging the follicles permanently. Yikes!
I wish someone at A New You would have
told me this because this is what they did to me.
Skin experts warn that women with hair extensions run the risk of developing bald patches, which could be permanent. This statement was made after new research revealed that a certain percentage of women started to experience hair loss in a week after getting hair extensions.
According to dermatologists, hair extensions can cause traction alopecia – which is caused by tension on hair follicles located on the scalp when the false strands are attached to real hair using glue, braiding or weaving. This causes hair follicles to become inflamed, which inadvertently leads to hair loss. This damage caused to hair follicles cannot be remedied, leaving women with permanent bald spots.
The British Journal of Dermatology publishing the research insists that the hair loss problem caused by hair extensions could be more widespread than reported.
Dermatologists from the University of Miami, USA and Bologna University, Italy said that according to their research, even if hair loss was not experienced due to hair extensions, considerable damage had been done to the scalp.
