Tips for Duncan Brothers Salon

November 08, 2012

Do not visit the Quail Springs location or any other for that matter. They messed up my hair and then refused to provide a remedy, return calls, and share the hair color formula they used. The manager is secretive and evasive-very professional at that, which told me that she has experience dealing with (or rather Not dealing with) complaints-which, of course, is not good. When calling other locations to get info on who to complain to, same thing-evasive and secretive. Save yourself the aggravation and go to a truly top notch hair salon.

*Caveat: I had to guide the "high-level" stylist through the hair-cutting process-could not cut hair.

Whoaaa. I got my hair colored and cut at the Quail Springs Salon in the mall. They said I would get a Sr. Stylist so I had to pay more. My hair looks "O.K."..... My friend went to the Duncan Brothers School on S. W. 59th street and hers looks AWESOME and she paid half what I paid. The girls in Duncan Brothers Salon were trained at the Duncan Brothers School in Edmond or the one on S.W. 59th so why not pay half and get what you want?

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I WENT TO THE DUNCAN BROS. SALON IN EDMOND. IT TOOK TOO LONG AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE ONE PRICE AND THEN CHARGED $80.00 MORE THAN WHAT THEY QUOTED ME. THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND I FOUND OUT THAT THE DUNCAN BROTHERS DON'T EVEN OWN THE SALONS ANY MORE. GO TO THE DUNCAN BROTHERS SCHOOL IN EDMOND. IT IS LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE AND THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY. DON DUNCAN, THE OWNER, CHECKED MY HAIRCUT AND MY COLOR AND HE WAS SUCH A NICE MAN. GO TO THE REAL DUNCAN BROTHERS!!!! 607-6363

The Best in OKC by far!. I have been going to Duncan Bros Salon for years now. Anyone you go to at Duncan Bros. is great. I have been to several stylists, and they all do a great job because they are all VERY WELL trained. That makes all the difference in the world! I always get compliments on my hair color and how natural it looks and how great it grows in. I would recommend and have recommended Duncan Bros to everyone I know.

They have a location in Edmond, QS Mall, and also one on N Penn by Penn Square so no matter where you live, there's one close to you.

They also have an Academy of Hair Design in Northpark Mall which is great if you're on a budget for your hair.

Great Hairdresser - up and coming. Donny Lizenbee - has been doing my hair since I found him at Lyric this past summer of 2005 doing hair for the Hello Dolly production with Sally Struthers. He very meticulus, creative and sensitive to my needs. His foils are so perfect people take pictures. I will be going to him for a long time to come.
