Not bad but not Leo's. This is a squeeky clean version of Leo's. Unfortunately, the corregated metal decor is pristine and looks more "industrial" than rural/traditional rib joint. The food is very good. The beans are very good. I would rather go to Leo's, this place will do in a pinch.
NEVER on a Saturday afternoon!!!. I made the mistake of trying to visit this place on a Saturday afternoon. I placed my order but at the exact same time two phone calls came in. One was an order for 30 hamburger dinners to go and the othe was for 12 rib dinners to go. Well you can imagine that those catering orders had to be prepared ahead of the dine-in orders so anybody who was waiting or their food had a very long wait. I finally gave up and told them I would return in a couple hours to get my food. They didn't seem bothered as it helped them get the catering food out faster knowing that they did not have to prepare one more dine-in order. So, if you like this place, avoid it on Saturday afternoon when soccer practice lets out!!!!!
chain bbq. I am from out of town and a friend recommended Earls in Norman OK, it was so so, there are so many better places to eat. I will not go back when I visit Ok, try going to Jake's in Chickasha, that is very good. The brisket is dry, and so were the ribs.
This is very good BBQ. Always pleased at Earl's quality, freshness, consistency, alue. Not a big rib fan here; usually opt for the chopped beef sandwich, always delicious -- smoky, tender, lean meat, & NOT dry, served on a fresh bun. The 2 sauce selection is great -- I am a sucker for the hot sauce. The baked beans are awesome -- makes my mouth water to think about them. Either slaw or potato salad are good side options. Personally, I like onions in my slaw; fresh and flavorful, without too much mayonaise. The potato salad has a Southern lean, and is like whipped potato salad; smooth & rich. For dessert, the cobblers are hard to beat, especially when served warm a la mode. The service is always prompt & courteous; almost like eating at a friend's house. I go to the N Western location mostly, but have visited other locations and never been disappointed.
BEST BBQ IN OKLAHOMA!!. This place is great! Food was perfect. The service was top notch! The food was so good, tasted like homemade. The atmosphere was very cozy and my food came out very quickly after we ordered. I will defenitly visit again. I went to the one on Reno & Meridian. I took my family and the kids loved it. Very family oriented. Best BBQ I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of different restaurants.
The Best BBQ in the city. Probably one of my favorite places to eat in Oklahoma City. The atmosphere is great. The service is wonderful, the chedder burgers are absolutly incredible. The ribs are so tender they practically fall off the bone, and the hot links are probably the best I've ever had. I've had barbeque from all over the country, and Earl's is easily some of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a drive to get to earls (the closest location to me is reno and meridian and i'm in moore) so, hopefully, more will be put in soon.
edmond location. Well when I parked outside it smelled like a real good bbq place, and when I got inside the prices where kind of high so I assumed that the food would be good. But no, tough undercooked ribs and burned beans are what I found when I got home. My Wife rather enjoyed the pork shoulder kids portion. but my dinner was overpriced, and poorly cooked. the sauce was good. The cole slaw had big chunks of onion, not my cup of tea. I know good bbq, this location is cooking it wrong, go to another location. The manager said that this stuff was as good as memphis bbq. Please dont insult memphis so. this was terrible compared to any rib place open in the state of tennessee and was way overpriced at that.
