Lots of Gifts - Good Clothing Selection - Needs More Shoes. Nearly New could use more shoes, but the clothing selection is out of this world. And jewelry and other gifts here save me a lot of money.

I like the location and the prices.. Run, don't walk. Actually - drive. They're in a good location. I like that it's just up from the Western Avenue District. I can skip the mall, get decent food in the area (now there's a Whole Foods) and still shop til I drop, but without blowing my credit card limit.

Good for BOTH Men and Women. The men really get by well here, which means you can bring the boys and go shopping for yourself without worrying they're bored.

Good suits, Good Daughter Clothes. Prom dresses are vastly, vastly better than what I can get for twice the cash at the mall. Frankly, if you have a daughter, and are on a budget, you don't want to go anywhere else for stuff like that. Sportcoats and suits too - you can look like an exec for cheap.

Beware of OVERCHARGE or DOUBLE CHARGE. OWNER IS SNEAKY!

I have shopped in this store off and on for years. I have been overcharged on numerous occasions but really didn't start checking my receipts until a few years ago so who knows how many times I was overcharged. Also, my credit card was run through twice (in excess of $200). I had to call to get them to cancel one of the charges.

Anything designer is marked very high and the tags are clipped so they can't be reduced. This is a new policy as they used to mark down all of their clothing. They have a different policy now. It's too bad. Years ago, it was a great store to shop in. NO MORE.

Sorry, but is isn't a customer of Nearly New on Western. All transactions, w/o exception, are tracked by customer acct in our POS system & we're especially aware of any accts active for years, as above comments state. No Blakely Lee was ever a client of Nearly New on Western. Perhaps a different business.

But if there does exist any record of such a transaction, and it's brought to us, we'll happily correct any error & issue a complimentary store credit for the inconvenience.

Item lost. Took 5 evening gowns and one wedding veil in to the shop 60 + days ago! Just picked up yesterday. Nothing was sold. But my wedding veil is missing. I knew what I brought in. They said they didn't have it. I knew it was there and got sold.. Beware when you take items in. He won't write up the list there and then. When you're picking them up go fishing. I didn't make any sales but at least don't steal from me. What a bad reputation, snob and stupid systems.

Occasionally some small item could go missing in a large and busy store, despite extensive efforts at inventory control. In the case of this client, we are happy to have resolved the matter by issuing a credit for the full value of the gown, not simply the veil itself, and this has been accepted by the customer. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to resolve the matter.

Don't bother. Wow...a 2 week wait to get an appointment to consign your clothes. Another store got me in the same day! With busy schedules, you should be more flexible...I'll do my business elsewhere, consigning and buying!

While we're a busy, thriving, award-winning store with extensive traffic, we realize being able to drop off clothes immediately is more important for some clients. Smaller stores with fewer offerings may work better in those cases. We appreciate that you considered us the very *first* choice. We're always striving to balance availability with getting your merchandise in front of the widest possible audience.

Neat Place. Nearly New is where my daughter got her prom dress. The owner is funny, and talks up a storm if you want to talk about clothes. He knows a lot. Seriously, a neat neat place.

Big selection Gosh!. Gosh, big selection! I can't ever find enough time to go through it all, but the first thing that grabs me is the shoes - they're right by the counter!
