Do not trust their delivery service..
On Monday, February 13th my doorbell rang at 7:15AM. A woman was there with a floral delivery for my “neighbor”. Said neighbor lives 3 or more houses down from me and I do not know this person. This woman was not home, so they knocked on my door wanting me to take her flowers. I guess this is customary for some florists to try a neighbor’s home in case the person is not there. They also can try to call the person who made the order.
I was completely surprised at 7:15AM to be given flowers that were not mine, that I was supposed to deliver for Granada Floral. I asked if they can leave them there, the lady who was very nice responded "they will die". As she puts the flowers in my hand, she makes me sign the slip saying I received the flowers. Then she asks for my phone number and address to give to the woman (who I do not know) who is receiving the flowers. So now I will get to deliver flowers to a stranger, who I now have her full name and address and she has mine. Someone could easily not care and not deliver them or much less could do way worse with the information being exchanged.
I'm a good person and I will make sure she gets her flowers. I am surprised by this business practice. Not only was it 7AM and I'm have to go to work (FYI, my job is not delivering flowers), so who knows when I will be able to get her the flowers. BUT now I'm in charge of delivering her flowers to her. I don't see pizza delivery guys or someone delivering a TV dropping it off at the nearest house that answers the door first and asking them to finish their job.
To add fuel to the fire, my husband called Granada Floral and mentioned this situation (I was already at work). The response was shocking. The man on the phone was very rude stating "Sorry we ruined your Valentine’s day or put you out. Sorry if we ruined your wife’s Valentine’s day. This is what we do when the people are not home" They do not explain anything. They just say deal with it.
Luckily I'm a responsible and good person and I will make sure she gets her flowers. Someone out there paid a minimum of $50 to show her they cared. Thanks to me NOT Granada Floral, she will get her flowers. Granada Floral delivery service is dropping it off at the first stranger that opens their door and hoping they will finish the job.
I would NOT use them. Not only do I not believe in their business practices, they are extremely rude when questioned.
DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THIS VENDOR. I RECIEVED AN ARRANGEMENT FOR MY BIRTHDAY OF DAISIES(MY FAVORITE FLOWER) IT WAS ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE. THE BASKET OF DAISIES ON THE WEBSITE WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT WHAT I RECIEVED HE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE HAND PICKED FROM THE FIELDS AND THROWN IN A BASKET. WHEN I EMAILED PROFLOWERS ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE "THEY OFFERED A $10 DISCOUNT ON FUTURE PURCHASES WITH CONDOLANCES FROM THE VENDOR I CAN PROMISE THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PURCHASE.
High Quality Flowers, Beatiful Designs, Resonable Price!. I recently received an arrangement from this shop from an out of town friend. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and has lasted over a week (and still going strong). The arrangement was very tasteful with Roses, hydrangeas, mums, etc. The roses were a color I've never seen before, like a burnt orange fall color and they were huge. The arrangement was very elegant and packed full of high quality flowers. When I realized what shop it came from I was very excited as it is a shop down the street from my home who I have done business with in the past. They also did a wonderful job with that arrangement. Their flowers are very high quaility and their prices are VERY reasonable. I recommend Granda Floral for all of your floral needs!
