Avoid Avoid Avoid. ABC Moving Co showed on time at my sons apartment for a move that had been scheduled for a full week. After giving an estimate of 5 hours and $370 which my son agreed to verbally, he stepped into the apartment to speak with a friend. Moments later, he stepped outside, only to see the moving van driving away.

I contacted the company by phone a few minutes later, and was told they went to another job! Too bad for us, in other words.

At no time was my son presented a contract to sign, only told what it would cost (estimated). Apparently his reply to the effect of "well, it has to be done today" was not taken as acceptance to start.

I plan to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau, and more, will use every means available to warn the public.

Avoid this company at all cost!

Horrible Experience!. They took 13.5 hours to do a job that another expert mover said should have taken 8 tops. And they didn't even finish! They didn't know how to disassemble anything. I had to go to Ace to get wrenches and other tools. They almost destroyed my very expensive fridge. They left items at my house and didn't assemble anything at the new house. It was 1030pm and they just quit because I wouldn't pay them until the job was done. I had to hire a new mover the next day, at the busiest time of the year. All the things ABC movers claimed they couldn't do, this guy did in record time!! One of the movers even lied to me and said they would be back the next day to finish. The owner confirmed with me that was never discussed and they would not be back to finish. He told me to have a nice life and hung up on me. Terrible. Just terrible. Stay away from this one.
