Awful Customer Service - didn't finish the job well.
I am sadden to write this review because I had hoped Ray would have responded differently to my call.
He sent out some plumbers to fix a leak under the house. Since there was duct work preventing them from getting to the leak they came up with another option to cut through the floor in a closet. I was ok with this because they assured me that they know how to do this and it wouldn't be a problem. They cut the floor and adequately fixed the leak but while cutting the wood floor they did damage that now requires someone to come in a fix. The plumber called me to tell me this because I wasn't there.
I called Ray the next day to discuss this since I didn't feel like I needed to pay someone else to fix their work. He began to scream at me saying that I shouldn't have let them do the work. He was very belligerent and would not even listen to me. He blamed me for the poor job done in the floor telling me that they are plumbers not carpenters and that he wouldn't want to work with me again because I might ask him to paint my house now. Most of what he was yelling at me just didn't make sense. I told him that I was happy with fixing of the plumbing but felt they didn't finish the job well, at no point did he even remotely care that they damaged my floor and that I would have to pay to get it fixed. Even though I reminded him that they assured me that they could do it, he again reminded me that they are plumbers and that I shouldn't have let them do it - crazy!
The sad thing is I have used him before without incident and because they are fairly reasonable in price I didn't want this working relationship to end like this. I told Ray that I just couldn't use him again and he told me that he didn't want me to anyway - very child like. I am posting this because I am frustrated but to also warn others to not expect any kind of concern for the customer, this is foreign to them. If you are sure that it is a simple fix and that there will not be any complications, and you like taking risks then consider Ray, if you want to make sure the job is done well, from start to finish - do NOT use them!…
BEWARE. Horrible Service. Called Rays to work on a backed up floor drain in my gym. Plumber came promptly during normal business hours and worked to unclog drain. After apparently fixing the problem, packed up and left. A few hours later the drain backs up again so I call Rays and they send a second plumber, now after hours. He works to unclog, fixes, packs up and leaves. A week later I recieve a bill that is more than twice the cost of a service call. When I call Rays to question the bill I AM HUNG UP ON. I finally get a hold of Ray the owner and he explains to me that I was charged for a after hours service call even though my original call during business hours was not done properly. Ray was very firm that he would not adjust my bill and that he was not overcharging me. As a business owner I believe Ray's Sewer Service has unfair business practices and would not recommend them to ANYONE.…
