One of the first Chelino's Locations. The amiable manager, Juan Garcia, and the accomplished cook, make this location one of the better ones. If all you get at a Mexican restaurant is tacos, enchiladas or burritos - you don't test their expertise. Carne guisada, chicken guiso, shrimp and fish soup, chicken tortilla soup and fajitas are usually very good here. (Chelino's fajitas are deliciously marinated and juicy). The Bricktown location is larger, nicer and better known and I like it, as well as many of their suburban restaurants. But we've been coming to this location for over 15 years with no problems.
