a total waste of time and money.
I've had two experiences with La Luna and they were enough to convince me to never go again. The first time I ordered a dish with spinach in it. Turned out it was canned spinach. Enough said. Second time, I was with a group of young theatre students who had a limited time to eat. We had called ahead to alert the staff that there were 20-some people w/very little time that needed dinner. The La Luna staff deemed it to be no problem. Well, the poor girl that was assigned to us was in the weeds. Most of the kids had to go back and perform on an empty stomach, because the kitchen wasn't able to accomodate the orders, even though we had been assured they could. The management was less than courteous. NEVER AGAIN.

La Luna's hits the mark.
Arrived on a Wednesday night at 6pm'ish with little to no crowd which can be a little scary, makes me think why nobody is there. Not to be frightened, business picked up and soon the entire wait staff was busy.
Tried the margarita swirl.... not bad, but definitely not the best margarita I've ever had. Chips and salsa were good, however, feel free to pass on the queso that is brought out with the salsa and chips.... tasted like it was straight out of a Campbell's cheese soup can with a little Ro*tel thrown in, but hey! it's free so not much room to complain.... right?
Ordered the Pork Chile Verde.... YUM! Absolutely no fat on the pork, the tomatillo sauce accompanying the pork was just a tad overpowering but nonetheless good. My wife had the Pollo with green chile sauce and monterey jack cheese and admittedly was better than mine. The chicken was cubed and served with refried beans and garnished with red bell pepper. It was nice to see something other than your typical chicken breast arrive on your plate smothered in stuff, whereas, this had just the right balance of chile and cheese to make it quite tasty.
The staff was friendly and attentive, the place was clean and there was no wait for either our food or for our seating. 2 thumbs way up!

My best meal in OKC.
Stayed in Bricktown for a long weekend. Had several disappointing meals before going to La Luna on a whim.
Service was great, sangria margaritas were excellent, and the food came out quick! And it was good!
Yay! If I was in the OKC area again, I'd most definitely go back.
