I went to CCS to get my haircolor, nails, and facial and I could not believe the practices in that school. First off the towels they used in my facial had hard acryllic all over them, and holes. It was dirty and stunk and I could not believe the instructor was ok with this. The instructor did not even know how to color or cut my hair. She cut off 4 more inches than I wanted and turned my HAIR orange!!! WOW...She is OLD, RUDE, AND disrespected the student right in front of me. The student knew more about hair than she did. She would speak to me so close to my face that she was spitting. I saW NASTY LIL BROWN CREATURES..., and all products are expired, watered down gel, and nats! The floors were coated with hair, it is winter and they dont use heat. The master instructor would not give my money back. I walked in the office and she was on myspace..I was talking to her and she said just a minute im writing an email. Then I waited 30 minutes to speak with her. I would not recommend going there...EVER EVER

I am currently a student at CC'S Cosmetology (Oklahoma City Campus) and I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone...EVER! The management is consistently coming up with excuses as to why students are not recieving their financial aid disburesement checks. One girl had to drive 3 hours all the way to Tulsa because they lied to her and said they sent her check off 3 times. We only have 7 students left at this point and every single one of them have been told that they are not going to get their checks because of their attendance. Legally they cannot withhold our money (we are the ones responsible for paying it back), but they continue to do so without regard for our rights. We are students that cannot afford to hire attorneys, therefore, we are bullied, robbed of our own money, and stuck in our contracts. I have been in this school 6 months and have seen 7 instructors come and go. Our best instructor was fired because she made a white student do a black customer. UNREAL! Our instructor could not even get on unemployment because management lied and said she quit. Now, we are stuck with a 60 plus year old instructor who does not know the first thing about modern hair. We backcomb mannequins and do fingerwaves all day. One time I gave this kid an edgy haircut that he loved, he tipped me 10 bucks, the instructor came over and said its not presicion and chopped it off into a bowl cut and he almost cried. Upon one girls graduation, they would not let her graduate because she did not sell enough of CC'S retail (items with an expiration date of 2004) We have about 50 towels in all that are cruded with acrylic (they are all brown and every towel has huge holes). We are required to use these nail towels on our clients hair and it is quite embarassing. CCS is in HUGE financial debt and will take your financial aid!! They need new management, new instructors, new rules and regs or they need to shut their doors for good!

I am currently a student at CC's Cosmetology College, and from day one it has been an unpleasant learning experience, which I paid over $14,000 to experience. I was warned my second day of class, by the (hostages) students, to withdraw and go to another school. They went on to tell me of their laundry list of woes...Disbursement checks from their student loans that had bounced, discontinued speciality classes, strong arm tactics to sell CC's Cosmetology retail products that make it required to peddle their products to the tune of $500 prior to graduation, withholding financial aid and/or federal student loans from the students even though they had already been compensated... There are rarely more than 11 students at the school at one time, and if you speak to them either they have hired an attorney in attempts to get out of their contracts or to get their money due to them from the overage disbursed by financial aid/federal student loans. Something unethical is going on with the business practices at CC's. I was finally disbursed the remaining amount of my financial aide on March 8, 2008, and when I took it to Ace Check Cashing on May Avenue they called the bank that the check was drawn on The F&M Bank & Trust Company of Tulsa and they were told not to cash the check due to insufficient funds. What?! Finally, after many telephone calls to CC's Cosmetology College of OKC and the CC's Cosmetology College main campus in Tulsa we corraled this bouncing check and I was allowed to cash it. Come to find out the owner had to take the money to the bank so that I could cash my check. It is illegal in all 50 states to write a check on an account and not have the funds present to cover that check. In closing, I would not recommend this school to an enemy let alone a fellow beautician. When you are researching cosmetology schools overlook this place like the plague. You will find yourself frustrated, indebt, with the ability to backcomb a mannequin into a helmet.
