Thank goodness for the change

by melissa0839 at Citysearch

I agree with the other posts. It was horrible a few years ago. I have lived here since May 2007 and there has been horrible management over the years. I will say though that it has changed. Since earlier this year when new people took over, this place has changed dramatically. They actually care about us, the people living here, and go out of their way to show it. They are always in the office with smiles on their face. They have painted the buildings and are in the process of putting up new roofs on the buildings. One day I was leaving for work and the girls from the office were outside in the freezing cold handing out Krispy Kreme doughnuts to everyone who drove by. They have gatherings for us who live here often. Now, when I have to call them about a light going out or anything that requires maintenance, they are here the same day. The maintenance guys are very nice too.

I am now happy to say that I live here and even though I don't normally like change,,,, I love the change going on around here.

WORST MANAGEMENT

by wilscook at Citysearch

Please contact me before even considering looking through this apartment complex. 1. The housing conditions are horrible--we couldn't move in on time due to the roof leaking and flooding the apartment. Then we had mold growing all over our apartment and I had to call health services to check on it. The apartment smelled of cat odor, and unfortunately I am allergic to cats. There was cat hair all over the carpet still before we moved in. There were cobwebs covering our porch, which were the least of this apartments worries. While living there, the ceiling constantly leaked every time it rained, and it was a serious problem, having parts of our ceiling fall off and onto the bed and carpet, also making the carpet smell, once again, of mold and odor. 2. The management system is horrible. Good luck contacting them with any complaints--it took me MONTHS to get ahold of a manager, with my daily phone calls to them being screened. I moved out last MAY and it is now NOVEMBER and have still not gotten my security deposit back, which they claim was due to CAT ODOR. Funny, huh? I've never owned a cat, let alone a pet in the apartment, and I even had them clean it when I moved in due to cat hair. The management system is completely unsympathetic to any problems which may occur in the apartment, and only care about your money and finding any way they can to keep all of it. My phone number is (405) 623-7190 if anyone would like to speak to me about their concerns.

  • Pros: ABSOLUTELY NONE

Terrible place to live

by nja0411 at Citysearch

Management is rude and it is extremely hard to get anything fixed when it is broken. The patio door is barely hanging on the hinges and cannot be used and has been for over a year. The apartments are not well made and you can hear everything through the walls and ceilings. I would never recomend this place.

  • Pros: large apartment
  • Cons: insects, trash around apartments, not enough parking

Never live here

by cwilson8 at Citysearch

The management here is horrible. We had an extremely leaky roof that covered our entire apartment (every room was wet) and no matter how many times we called them, they would not fix it. It took over a month of living with stepping over bowls of water all over the floors of our apartment until they fixed it. Not to mention numerous other management issues. I would never recommend anyone to live here.

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Everything. Especially management

Worthless Apartment

by danilankford at Citysearch

This apartment is the worst I have ever lived in. It started when we put the deposit down, we were told that they wouldn't deposit the checks until our application had been processed, which was a huge lie, they deposited the checks 2 weeks before we got approved for one of the apartments. The door frames are made of cardboard (no joke, we've had to replace 4) and the walls are paper thin, not to mention that you can hear every foot step above you or below you. They are made very poorly and very cheaply. It's not worth the money at all. The manager is a total witch, don't even bother trying to deal with her. Our rent has been stolen, probably by staff (I can't see who else could have done it) and they have no respect for their tenants, plus they will not work with you. When our rent check was stolen they threatened to evict us in 5 days, which is illegal, and they wouldn't even hear us out on the fact that it had to have been stolen. We have had to have numerous repairs in our apartment, including our hot water heater, which took them a month to fix, meaning we had no hot water for a month regardless of how many times we had to call them. Half the power sockets in the kitchen do not work and there is faulty wiring throughout the rest of the apartment. The neighbors across the road are very disturbing and alarming as well, I half expect to be robbed. I advise anyone viewing these apartments not to rent, it's a nightmare from the very beginning.

  • Pros: Large apartments
  • Cons: Staff, parking, maintenance, management, quality is cheap, noise is outrageous
