Norman >Sonic Drive-In
One more chance.
I'm going to give this Sonic one more chance since I live just a few blocks away and because the employees are friendly and the service is fast.
That being said, I have been to this Sonic three or four times and not once has my order been correct. Either something has been left out, left on when it shouldn't be, or the food has been stale (especially fries.) I think I got fresh, hot fries ONCE.
I will check my order more carefully next time, but there's not much you can do about nasty food. I hope the managers will start enforcing the "fry dump" times and ask the employees to be more careful filling orders.
Retro-outfitted servers deliver burgers, malts and sandwiches to your car at this '50s-style drive-in chain..
Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
