My wife and I went to Goodno's Jewelry to buy my wedding band a little more than a year ago. And then we went back and spent another chunk of change on bridal jewelry for my wife.
While on vacation this week, I lost my wedding band. So, I called Goodno's to ask if we had paid for any replacement/protection plan and the woman on the phone (she didn't give me her name) told me we hadn't, and then began lecturing me on how I shouldn't have been wearing my wedding band while I was on vacation. I found it rather rude, and thanked her for her commentary and hung up.
My wife and I liked Goodno's just fine, but this communication with the salesperson who answered the phone call was unacceptable. I don't appreciate being lectured by someone who is ignorant to the situation that caused my wedding band to get lost.
In any case, we won't be shopping at Goodno's anymore. This one experienced did them in.
Really Helpful and Friendly – I've never bought jewelry from Goodno, but I have taken my jewelry to them for repair. The staff has always been really helpful and courteous, and I go to Goodno every time I need something repaired.
They're used car salesmen. They sell lemons. – Goodno's Jewelry sold me the ring I proposed to my wife with. Eight or nine months later, two of the diamonds FELL OFF of the ring. When we took it in to the store, they made it a point to tell us that it was our fault before they even looked at the ring. Then they told us they would charge us a third of what the ring cost to replace it. I asked for the ring back and said that I would like to get a quote elsewhere. They told us they would charge extra if we did this and brought it back. They do not back up their products at all. They are unaccountable for their products and rude to their customers. At least, that was my experience.
