Legit Italian Place.
I moved from NJ to OK almost a year ago and finding a legitimate italian place here is close to impossible. Toto's is legitimate. In a town surrounded by food chains and no good food other than BBQ, this has been a life saver. Okies simply don't know how to make pizza or italian food. Here's a key note: if you ask for a "large plain pie" and they don't know what you are talking about then they aren't legitimate.
Great food, rarely busy, personal service.
Toto's is a Campus Corner legend that has been there for decades. The dark decor and old-world "bar" styling are a departure from the surrounding neighborhood. The service is relaxed and the menu follows the Italian spirit of preparing food with fresh but minimal ingredients and merging a few elements to make simple elegant cuisine. I have only had good experiences from the menu of traditional pastas and pizzas. Be prepared at lunch time to be the only party in the restaurant with Toto himself in the kitchen--he's great for conversation about his native Italy while your food is cooking. Also, the wine selection is good and the drinks are great!
