Best Salon I've Been To!. I’ve been going to Scott Risk for a couple years now, and I absolutely love them! With Scott, the results are consistent and I know my hair will always look great.

Getting my hair done in the past was always hit and miss. I used to go to Saks in Tulsa, and half the time, the stylist would run behind, and have to have someone else finish styling my hair. Sometimes I would get a good color or cut and the next time the color was off or the cut was not right. This is the only Hair Salon I have ever been to that always allots the proper time for the clients so that they are pampered, while no one else is left waiting for an appointment. I have never had highlights that are so close to my scalp. They look natural and last longer.

It is the small details and precision work that makes going to Scott so special. I feel totally spoiled by everyone at Scott Risk Hair Studio.

Very Picky Wife Loves This Place. I have a wife that has Masters Qualifications from the City and guild of London in Cosmetology , so you can only imagine how picky she is on who will do her hair, she found Scott Risk Hair Studio and made an appointment, she has been going there for over a year now. She is more than happy with everyone there and tells everyone about the place.

Now what do I have to say about the place, Hey if Momma is happy then Daddy stays happy, the times I have gone in to drop my wife off or pick her up they have always been great to me. I recommend this place as well. Call me if you want to ask me questions.

THE BEST!. I really LOVE this hair studio! A friend recommended Scott Risk and I'm so glad I listened to him. I have fine wavy hair and previous color treatments at other hair salons have left my hair dry and very unhealthy. The hair color products at Scott's leave my hair so soft and shiny and I get many complements. Scott really listened to all my concerns and advised me on what was best for my hair type. Scott Risk's entire staff there is very friendly and helpful. I aways feel like I'm being pampered. I can't thank them engough for the wonderful job they do.

Great Hair Sudio!. I was searching for a nail place when I found reviews on Scott Risk Hair Studio. I have never written a review before but was inspired by all the bizarre comment wars posted earlier. It seems some people have personal issues that they want to air in a review. I find those reviews worthless. This is a review of the ACTUAL service I have received at Scott Risk Hair Studio. I have been going here for three years. I moved here from Denver and was looking for a high end salon. I'm not rich by any means, but I don't go cheap on hair. (I've had too many bad experiences when I went to bargain salons) I LOVE this place. The staff is very polite and friendly. It has a relaxed atmosphere. Michael has cut my hair for the last three years and is the best hairstylist I have ever had! I watch what the other two stylists do, and have been impressed with their work as well. I have very fine half curly, half straight hair. It is hard to cut and style. I am extremely cautious about hair color because it is so fine. I don't know what brand of color they use, but it doesn't make my hair feel fried and does not have a strong odor that so many others do. The way Michael foils my hair makes the color look very natural. I never have any lines when it grows out! The cuts I've had there are amazing. The stylists are always going to classes to learn new techniques. One of my pet peeves is going to a salon and being pressured into buying products - they do not do that here. I've heard they are more expensive than other salons in Norman, but I have not been anywhere else in town. They are about the same price as the salons I went to in Denver. You DO get what you pay for - great hair and great customer service!

Being a prominent family figure Identify yourself, why not!. If your so high and mighty that your in such a prominent family in this community, why not identify yourself, instead of hiding behind your hair and having someone phony write your reviews for you. Show yourself you special one!!

This salon is obnoxious its unbelievable I went to go see it for my self how all the reviews express how wonderful, they are, they are not, Not when you don't look like your worth a thousand bucks, then see how they treat you. They claim they will make you look like that after they charge your card. Ha what a joke,

Name Dropping. Usually I don't like to name drop but I just love telling everyone I get my hair cut by Scott. We are a prominent family in the community and I am always getting compliments on my hair. I have even gotten my hair cut by Nick Arrojo for $500 and Scott is by far more talented than Nick! I have never seen anything like Scott's style of cutting. He worth every penny and more!!!!

This Place Is Way Cool. I am from Texas and there are lots of great salons. But this one here in Norman is awesome! I love my cut. My hair is easier to style and its so shiny. My roommates said I look better than ever!

Do You Want Volume???. I have fine limp hair and its very hard to get volume. I am in love with their volumizing lotion because it really works! I can go an extra day and my curls still hold.

Hey Guys. Just have to say that your new volumizing product really works! Its actually amazing and it doesn't make the hair sticky at all. Its really easy to get the volume I want and it lasts all day. Love it!

No Check and Balance System for Writing Reviews. We all know there is no check and balance system when writing a review. Anyone can create a profile and write whatever they want. However, let's all remember that good communication is always the best policy. Try and resolve issues before writing a bad review that can hurt someone. Using the internet to communicate is not good communication. For example; if an employee did not show up for work and the employer questioned them why they missed work - it would be poor communication if the employee said "Didn't you check my facebook, I left you a message". The same goes for clients as well. Many times the owner of a business doesn't have the time to check reviews to see who's happy and who's not. Always call and ask to speak to the owner and give them chance to resolve any issue. This is also a reminder to all employees and their friends and family that reviews are not the proper place to vent frustration. All employees are encouraged to go to the employer to resolve any review in question.
