A diamond in the Rough. My husband and I had lunch at Nic's today for the first time. The place is super tiny but not it a bad way. It feels like you are having lunch in a friends kitchen. We walked in and Nic asked us what we would like...he didn't write it down he just started cooking the burgers. There is a big flat screen TV and a bar where you can watch him cook watch a little sports and chit chat with the friendly customers. Very comfortable atmosphere. We got our burgers and were shocked at the size of them. I would say they were 1/2 pound of meat. They come with grilled onions on them and a fat slice of tomato. We also ordered curly fries and they were freshly cut homemade fries. Places like these are hard to find these days. Great prices too so next time you want a burger skip the big chain fast food places and give Nic's a chance!
Nic's. We had lunch there today, carryout. The cheese hamburgers and curly fries that we had were awsome. They had a huge (very thick) amount of meat on a large bun and fried onions. Pricing is very reasonable. We enjoyed the food so much that we plan on going there again tomorrow for lunch. In addition to the burgers they have lunch items. Open for breakfast and lunch, limited seating and limited menu items. It has a (very) small sports grill feel, equipped with a large screen tv. We wish there were more places like this out there.
