Many experiences
by lovemycats2009
Have gone to Dr. Leopard for several years. She
is normally direct and serious about her business,
but not rude. Had a young cat with a serious urinary
blockage. Dr. Leopard took him in immediately and
worked quickly to cure him. She let us come visit him
in his "hospital" cage over the weekend and took the
time to show us ultrasounds, etc. I thought her charges
were very reasonable. Jennifer is a friendly wonderful
assistant and so are some newer staff. I have boarded
cats with "Cats Only" for the first time ever and it is a good place for cat boarding - much better than a dog/cat clinic.
Dr. L's prices are slightly higher than some clinics, but
she is a specialist with cats. My cats are a lot calmer there than my former dog/cat clinic. The only loud bird
is one cockatoo in the front office, but my cats ignore him. The little birds in cages in the examining room are actually a great diversion for the cats. I trust Dr. L
with my precious cats 100% and never felt she was trying to get me to spend extra money. Other family go there also and are pleased with the surgeries, and routine care. Have had some vets that were admittedly more "cheerful and friendly", but they were not nearly as
excellent at veterinary medicine. Dr. Leopard becomes
friendlier the longer she gets to know you, but it has
nothing to do with how much money you spend. I would
recommend this clinic to anyone with cats.
- Pros: Excellent feline care
- Cons: Some staff not so friendly in the past
The Doctor is RUDE but staff is nice

First of all, the cats in the waiting room further raised the anxiety of my anxiety ridden cat. There must be nothing worse than having to be stuffed into a crate, put into a car, driven to a vet, and then get to the vet and there are at LEAST 5 cats roaming around taunting my poor cat. Just awful for him!
Then, I'm the concerned mother for my cat and the doctor barely looks at me, talks AT me not TO me, and acts like she's put out. It's no wonder she had an immediate opening! She mustn't have many happy customers! Her personality is ablative and just plain terrible.
I will say this though, the young lady who works up front who has a bit of a Northern accent...short hair...was very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. If it weren't for her...I'd give this darn place 1 star.
- Pros: Hmm....
- Cons: Dr. L lacks proper "social skills"
It's all about the money here

Had a horrible experience here! Dr. is abrasive (to put it nicely!). Quality of care and compassion for the animals was absent entirely at this visit. Had to call animal control to get her to release the cat to another vets care after staff claimed it bit unprovoked and she insisted on quarantine for 10 days.
- Pros: none
- Cons: Noisy (screaming) birds in cages all around the place
