BEWARE!. They are very rude and scam you out of your money. Do not give them the satisfaction of joining their membership and taking all of your money. This site says it all... atthebeachsucks

DO NOT TAN HERE!. I would not recommend At the Beach to anyone. The sales staff is not friendly and are constantly pushing me to buy product even when I just purchased something days before. Almost everytime I go in, one of the higher level beds is broken so I end up having to do a lower level bed which defeats the purpose of why I pay the higher price. I tried to voice my concern to the higher ups at one time but their solution was to ignore me and no one ever contacted me back. And heaven forbid you ever move or decide you don't want to tan here any more. It will cost you your first born child, an arm and a leg to cancel your memebership. I wish I could stop tanning here but it is cheaper for me to finish my year than the try and cancel. I really wish someone would have warned me before I started tanning here. I have been tanning now for 16 years in 4 different states and At the Beach is by far the worst tanning salon I have ever been to. DO NOT TAN HERE!

Nice Beds. I have been into several ATB clubs. What I like best is that at all of their locations they have great beds!! Mine is the 360.!!

Love Tanning Here. Everyone At The Beach is very friendly and goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They are always cleaning the place.

Do not use this company. I was a customer for over 10 years with no problems. I decided not to renew after my contract had expired the final time. I was told my contract had been fulfilled and my bank account would not be drafted any further. When they continued to draft my account the next months, I changed banks. Now I'm being sent to collections. I have called (only getting voicemail each time), emailed, and faxed letters trying to get this resolved. I am now filing a complaint with the BBB along with hundreds of other customers. If you're looking for a place to tan, do yourself a favor and find an alternate tanning facility.

A great place to get a tan.
I have been tanning with At the Beach on and off for years, even back when they only had 3 locations and were open 24 hours. What I enjoy about tanning there is the great choice of beds and the fact that they offer monthly plans where I can pay one price monthly and tan as much as I like.
I have had had both the long term membership, and the short term membership and each had it's advantage, but I never felt like I had been tricked or cheated into purchaseing a membership.

Extremely Unhappy with Dishonest Business Practices. I can't even begin to tell you how dishonest and shady this service is. I went in person to initiate a contract to tan for one month. When I asked the front desk receptionist the terms of the contract she told me I had to cancel my membership before the month was up. I canceled 28 days after my start date and noticed on my credit card statement the next month that they charged me an additional month. When I brought this to their attention they said there was a 5 day processing wait. I did not know to allow an additional five days or I would have canceled earlier. This five day wait put me over the thirty day contract, charging me for another month. When I went to dispute it they claimed it didn't matter what the receptionist who worked there told me and that the contract states the conditions. When I called the customer service number they were rude and threatened to reactivate the contract enabling them to access my credit card if I had the money credited back to my account.
