Products and salesmen. I became disable from work related injury, so I spend a lot of time indoors now. I figgerd I would buy a good recliner for myself. The salesmen seem to be in a rush when he found out I didn't want to spend $800 to $1000, he quickly took me back to the seconds room and pointed a very nice chair made by Lane.We could find anything wrong with it,so I bought it for $650 plus tax. Four months later it would not hardly work and was lop sided. We turned it over and there was pieces of wood,broken bolts and a spring laying on the floor.Called them and due to the fact the salesman had quit and it was a so called second, I could not prove anything. Mathis B's won't happen again.

False Advertising. They had an ad in Sunday paper for a Weber Grill at a great price. When I called on Monday, they said the price was only good for Sunday. When I asked what the price was today, they said they weren't sure, they just started handling grills, and were not sure what they had or would get, but they could not quote a price on or sell me the advertised grill. The ad did NOT state this was a limited time offer or limited quantities available. Shame on you Mathis Bros for devious advertising.

Worst Customer Service. The salesperson (manager) was having personal problems so in the middle of trying to help us he would have to go and answer his cell phone then come back and then leave again. (We found the furniture ourselves without his help) I went there bought a couch and loveseat got it home and the feet to the loveseat was almost poked through the side of the couch. Called them the next day and they asked me to just rub it and wanted me to go buy a product to put on it and call in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called again and they said to keep doing it for another 2 weeks. After the second 2 weeks they told me that it was over a month since I bought it that there was nothing else they could do. After lots of yelling at them they finally saw my way but they just wanted to give me another one and I figured with I what I have been to I wanted my money back and to go somewhere else. After lots more yelling I finally got my way.
