Car Search Manager Brian Newvill Sexually harasses me

by Shellybradges at Citysearch

I have been a customer of Car Search Auto sales(5797 York Drive, Norman) for almost a year. In this time I have been a victim of sexual harassment by the Manager Brian Newville. It started off with him texting me, and NO I never gave him my number, he took it out of my file He knew I was married, and his response to this was "So am I, so we both have something to lose". He has sent me very graphic text(I still have them all) and pictures of himself in nothing but his underwear. I have contacted a law firm, and they are willing to take my case if I can find any other woman who have been victimized by Mr Newville. I'm looking for other woman who have been approached by this man. Have you had an issue with your car, and been told it would be fixed but it could get fixed faster if you performed "Sex Acts" on Mr Newville?

This man is completely out of control, and needs to be stopped. So please, if you have been approached by Mr Newville in any way email me (I promise that all e-mails will be held in complete privacy.) with your contact info. I would like to contact you, and forward my lawyers information so that we can start legal proceedings. If you have text, phone call logs, pictures or etc, please keep them and do not delete them. With the proof I have, the more the better. There's no reason on contacting the owner of the car lot, because I've already been told this is not the first time Mr Newville has had this claims against him.

I've learned a lot about this car lot. I've learned that they put GPS devices on their cars without the knowledge of the customers. They only have 30 days to get a title to you and if they don't then the contract is void and they have to pay back all money that was put towards there cars. The also post cars on line for way less then what they charge, and they try saying "Thats cash price" well that's illegal. They have to finance you the same amount as what its posted for

Won't do business again!!!

by JMSearson at Citysearch

I found an expedition advertised through craigslist. Called and scheduled an appointment to come look at it. Got there....the owner was driving the expedition. Scheduled another appointment to look at it. Came back with my financing ready to buy. The owner was driving the car again. So, the salesman drove me to where the owner was so I could see the car. When I had initially told them I wanted to trade in my Nissan Xterra, they hyped me up and told me it was worth a lot more than I even expected. After they test drove it....they told me it was missing and they would give me $1000 for it. Luckily for me, my mechanic walked through the door at that moment and I asked him to scan the car. He did and told them the engine was not missing and the car had nothing wrong with it. We ended up making a deal, after I told them I was leaving.

2 weeks after purchasing the car, the A/C goes out. I had to have that repaired. 3 weeks after I bought the car I took it to the car wash. The trunk area floods when the car is washed!!! Think what will happen when the rain finally comes in. Just last week, the spark plug blows out while I'm driving it. Turns out, they were faulty spark plugs and now I need to replace the heads!

These kinds of problems can happen with any used car you buy, but they do have a mechanic!!! Why so many problems with a car I purchased just over a month ago?!?! You can't tell me that they never washed the car while it was on their lot! I'm furious and now carless!!! I will NEVER do business with them again!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention that they were supposed to order a part for the locks....bought the car June 21, 2011...it's August 3, 2011 and haven't heard from them.

Car search & it's victims

by carsearchvictim at Citysearch

Run as fast as you can from these scammers! Uncle Bud is one of the biggest liars one could ever meet at any carlot being new, used or note lots. Never had an uncle to screw me over like this man, so Bud you need to drop the uncle part.

They will lure you in on "You dont need any money down" and of course this is after they have ran your credit, you get there after driving a great distance & find you need quite a bit down.

They do the figures, put you in a car & a month later or before payment is due......they come & repo the car. The excuse is now the bank wont finance it. Ok.....so they get you to come back & want to put you in a totally trashed out car, a death trap. Not alot of choice when you got a ride & this car lot already had your money down long & out of need of a car since they repo'd first car & had sold it before it was even repo'd...yes, they had someone willing to pay more for that car, so they repo'd it & in a few days someone else was driving it. Well car 2 was a bomb from the start but out of my now desperation...I was stuck, screwed & tatoo'd. That car didnt last long, so they say they have more to come look at, so long trip back & found car...no another bomb. Paper work drawn up at one price, signed & off we go. Next come back need to redo paperwork & you sign....The price had changed, yes it was now higher. I will tell you now....check all their paperwork against your's it will definately vary quite a bit of course with you still owing more. Told them they could have this car back & if I drove it to them they would give back $200.00 for doing so...heck that changed too! After the gas in 2 cars to bring the one back, they paid back $100.00 & of course Tyson decided to head out back door to lunch.

My paperwork on all 3 cars has been sent to Attorney General's office & to my attorney's. I have list of other's who been done this way. Be VERY careful!

Car Search did right by us!

by cotmom at Citysearch

Within our family we have purchased 4 cars through Car Search. All of our experiences have been positive. We have worked with owner Tyson & one of the salesmen, Bud, for our cars. I am currently driving a VW Jetta Wagon purchased through Car Search and I love my car. Unfortunately, we are searching for another car right now due to a wreck . It was a car purchased through Car Search and if not for this wreck, we would have continued to drive that car, again very satisfied with our purchase from Car Search. We will truly start working with them once we narrow down our choices and seriously get ready to buy a car. As with all things we understand that sometimes things don't work out and there are dissatisfied parties, but our experiences have been positive.

  • Pros: Accomodating, up front, and pleasant
  • Cons: If you are looking for a certain car, you might have to be patient & wait a bit & work with them.
