Do not use them! I regret going there. The owner, Greg, will treat you very nice when you first come in to the store. But, after you pay him, he treats you like a second class citizen, and is very unprofessional and rude. Customer service is non-existent after he has your money. I spent $1400 to have radar detector system installed. When I called him back three weeks later to try to make an appointment to have him address an issue, he told me to call him back next week because he was too busy with other customers. This is not customer service! It is obvious that this business focuses on short-term profit. Customer service after the sale is not important to them. If you need to have any windows tinted or audio or radar systems installed, go to Audio Extreme and ask for Dennis to do the work. That's what I had to do in order to address the problem. Yes, I had to pay more money to get this done, but it was worth it not having to deal with Greg at Alta Mere! Dennis and Van at Audio Extreme has integrity, is honest, and treat their customers with respect
The Owner is RUDE!!! – DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. SERVICE AFTER THE SALE IS HORRIBLE!!! JACKIE COOPER ALL THE WAY!!!...With the summer heat, the tint started peeling on my front two windows. I called and spoke to the owner to see if the warranty would cover having them re-tinted, which it does not. We agreed I would cover the cost of tint ($20/window) and they would cover the labor. So I made an appointment for Saturday morning. Got there and he told me they do not strip tint on Saturdays...so then why did he schedule me for that time knowing that's what I was having done? I had to rescheduled for 10AM on a Thursday. I could not get off work so I had my Mom take it in for me. When she showed up the owner was a total arrogant *ss to her. This time he tells her they only strip tint for 8AM appointments and that it was going to be $40/window...well then why the h*ll did you reschedule me for a wrong time AGAIN?? She told him no, it's supposed to be $40 all together. He went off on a tirade about how he's been in business 27yrs and pushed thousands of tint jobs through, but he's never had a black IS300 come through so there is no way it's under warranty for $20/window. He also wanted to know why I wanted them re-tinted and said does she want them lighter cause she's moving to Texas in a real smart-*ss tone? My Mom said well if you had listened to me, I told you its peeling, and what does moving to Texas have to do with it?? She then called me so that I could sort it out with him...which I could still hear him ranting in the background when I answered...I reminded him on what we agreed to, and that I was not very happy with this scheduling and rescheduling crap. He then tells me the total is $57, I'm said how is tax $17?? He says oh well I guess you don't want that bottle of cleaner. Cleaner?? Who said anything about me purchasing a $15 bottle of cleaner?? I was shocked at his audacity to charge me for something we never discussed after the way he treated us. Needless to say they did re-tint the windows at that time, and my poor Mom had to wait an hour in the shop with this *ss. This owner, Greg, is a nut job. All he wants is to make a sale, but if you need service after the sale he could give a two sh*ts. Owning a business myself, I can't imagine he's really been in business 27 years with that attitude. Guess he doesn't know what "repeat customers" can mean for business, or how fast word of mouth can spread. The whole point of having the tint fixed was to sell the car, and when I get my new car I will definately not be spending my $100's here again.
Pushy, not what I wanted, Won't use again – Sent my son to have my wife's car windows tinted. It's a convertable and the back window is very small, I told my son before he left do not do the back window, I had spoke to other shops and they said it's small, could get damaged operating the top, and can be added later if I wanted it's not a big deal. My son calls me 2 seperate times from the shop.."they say it will look stupid if the back window is not tinted" I tell him again just do the 2 side windows. A few minutes later he calls again "Dad they say it's going to look stupid" and I can hear the guy in the background telling him. Again I tell my son this is what I WANT DONE....I'm paying, I don't want the back window tinted. A few minutes later I get a text from wife, she says my son called her and told her because they kept telling him it would look stupid, so she said go ahead and do the back window. My son felt pushed and caught in the middle of the shop and me. The guys name was Greg and I was and am not happy. The car gets home the back window is done and the worst part it looked terrible. The side windows were fine, but the back is uneven and jagged. My wife doesn't want me to start a problem so I told her I won't take it back. I will however go to the place on 4th and I-35, in Moore and get it removed and redone correctly! I won't go back there again.
WOW!!!! What a wonderful experience. – I cannot believe they can tint a car so fast.... In and out in less than an hour. Staff was wonderful, great products and very competitive prices. After I left I went across the street to Sonic and forgot and rolled my window down and messed up the new tint (oops). I returned back to Alta Mere and Greg was so wonderful. They took my car and retinted the window for FREE. I offered to pay since it was my screwup, but he would not let me. I will recommened this Alta Mere to everyone I know.
Great Service when Buying, Horrible Service when any Problem Occurs – This place is a franchise. The owner is arrogant and pompus. He answers to no one therefore does whatever he wants. I paid over 300.00 to have my windows tinted. Immediately upon completion I noticed what appeared to be burn marks on the new tint. I showed this to the guy working the counter and he said it would disappear. Six days later the spots were still there. I called Alta Mere at 11700 S Western and was told to come right over and they would fix it. I took a half day off work and went to Alta Mere and met with the owner, Greg Goodman. At first he acted as though I did something to the windows. Then he noticed the marks were between the tint and the glass and repeated as though the damage came from a spot on a roll of tint. Then I was told that I would have to come back another day because they only do repairs at 8am or 1pm M-F. The other times are devoted to new customers. I explained that I just took a half a day off work and that I was told to come right over and it would be fixed. I was told that was because they thought it was something they could just wipe off. I never once received an apology and was told to come back some other day to get it fixed. When I was purchasing items from this store I was treated nicely. When a problem occured I was treated poorly.
